5 Bodybuilders That Took It Too Far

5 Bodybuilders That Took It Too Far

These are some of the bodybuilders who took it way too far and they definitely don’t look like an average human being

Gregg Valentino

When bodybuilders get so obsessed with their size, they can take some desperate measures to get big. One of the most popular aids in recent years has been synthol, a synthetic oil that is directly injected into a muscle to inflate it. The end result looks unnatural and bizarre, but it certainly does the job. Gregg Valentino was, at one point, the man with the largest arms in the world, and he employed sy nthol to keep them huge. Administering all of those injections took its toll on Valentino, though, and he developed a hematoma in his right arm that started leaking pus. He tried to drain it himself with a syringe and his bicep exploded, making a grotesque, bloody mess that resulted in a trip to the hospital.

Moustafa Ismail is a bodybuilder dedicated to pumping one specific muscle to massive proportions. He currently holds the Guinness record for the world’s largest upper arm circumference. His massive python’s measure at an astounding 31 inches! For reference, that’s the waist size of an average male! He reached these ridiculous results on a strict regiment of extreme exercise and a diet that includes eating 7 pounds of protein a day

Bent over – row can be performed with both heavy weights or light weights but to really work your back you need to do it with a weight that enables you to control the weight from the way up and down without cheating, I know most of us got ego and we end up doing things the wrong way, the more heavy you go the more you will struggle but it all depends on what you are training for either strength or hypertrophy.

World Record Heaviest and strongest Leg Press with weights
This is a video of the world’s most heaviest leg press ever, leg press is an exercise were most people who workout at the gym excel at, so as they always say Do Not Brag About Your Leg Press rather brag about your squat or deadlift.

Leg press exercise is either performed on a machine at a 45 degree and seated but I have seen people doing it with a smith machine but for proper form and balance the leg press machine is the best to perform the exercise, we all know that Ronnie Coleman (bodybuilder) is well known of his strength in leg press at 1043 kg (2,300 Lbs)  for  8 REPS but now time has passed by so we got people like Bobby Chiafullo who according to my research holds the record for now, he can press highest weight ever for 1 rep max, this man is the strongest when he holds the Guinness World Record in leg press, so here are the stats:

Ronnie Coleman - Leg Press, Squat and Deadlift Heavy Leg Day Challenge

Ronnie Coleman - Leg Press, Squat and Deadlift Heavy Leg Day Challenge

Ronnie Coleman can Leg Press 2000 lb - 2,300 lb. 1000 kg 1 ton, Squatting 800 lb. and Deadlift 800lb  this makes him the strongest bodybuilder  of all times, as Johnny Jackson has also broke a record on deadlift, Ronnie Coleman is an IFBB World professional bodybuilder, born  May 13 1964, he has won Mr Olympia 8 years in a row from 1998 - 2005, In this video Mr Coleman was preparing for Mr Olympia, He also states that this is his first time Leg Pressing 2,250 - 2,300 lb. 1000 kg 1 ton, Squatting 800 lb. and Deadlifting  800lb to him it is a record.

Bodybuilders in general has strength but there main concern is not strength its muscles and stimulation, if you training for strength then you will pick strength like character and if you train for muscles you will pick muscle like character, Ronnie Coleman did them both but he wasn’t a competitive strength athlete, though he stimulates muscles using heavy weights, on most videos of  Mr Coleman i have never seen him using light weights to build muscles, he always shock his body every time he is at the gym, But hei you can’t compare yourself to him as he didn't just get where he is in a month it took him years of  training. To many out there this is a motivation to help you to push yourself and to know your limits.
